Chila New Gen Nattu Visheshangal HD Released

Eastcoast Vijayan has a trail of success in the music video industry, but hasn't been able to make in the movie industry.
His earlier directorial ventures, Mohabath and Novel were box-office duds. Chila new gen nattuvisheshangal is yet another to that repertoire.

Vinayan, an orphan, has had a trail of unsuccessful business ventures to his "credit". And stands in the way of his marriage to his sweetheart, Meenakshi. When a legal, yet unethical opportunity comes calling he finds it testing his love and resolve.
Chila new gen nattuvisheshangal is a disjointed narrative without logic or reason that tells a half-cooked and under-developed story with no cinematic quality. And the rigid and awkwardly stiff performances sans emotions do not help the film one bit. You know a movie isn't working when all the heavily melodramatic scenes evoke laughter from the audience, when they should actually be tear-jerkers.

Music by M Jayachandran gives us songs by KJ Yesudas, Shankar Mahadevan, P Jayachandran, Shreya Ghoshal, and the likes. Easy on the ears, however the songs have lyrics like the spoken word. The cinematography is sharp and crisp, making it watchable. Hareesh Kanaran and his forced comedy are a hit-and-miss. He has forced comedy enough and many times that at places you happen to laugh in an otherwise dreary movie.

Chila new gen nattuvisheshangal is a movie you watch if you have very little regard for your time, or as a reviewer it is your job to be a good samaritan and alert movie lovers to save themselves when there is still time.
