AADYA Kannada HD Released

Adi, an entrepreneur in Kolkata, gets a call from his ex-girlfriend Sangeetha, who is in trouble. When he goes to Bengaluru to help her, he learns about her missing daughter - Aadyaa. What has happened?

Director Chaitanya KM is back with his fourth outing with actor Chiranjeevi Sarja. This time around, he has chosen to adapt the Telugu hit Kshanam, trying to fix some of the loose ends in the original screenplay and giving it a spin that suits his casting, and that seems to have worked. The screenplay is brisk and to the point, in spite of the fact that there are new characters featured here.

While the second romantic track in the film might seem unnecessary, focus on quality of computer graphics used for characters based out of Bengaluru could have ensured it did not come across as shoddy. Chiranjeevi always seems to perform his best with Chaitanya and this one is no exception. Sruthi Hariharan owns the second half of the film with a fine performance, especially in the climax. Ravishankar Gowda is another performer who stands out. Sangeetha Bhat does her job well.

Aadyaa is an engaging thriller. Even those who have watched the original can give this one a try as the characters and motives here seem more realistic and believable.
